Now in its seventh year, Berry Good Night celebrates local growers, ranchers, and producers, along with championing the ideology of sustainable food. Passionate chefs from San Diego and Baja join together to create dishes using whole animals purchased from local ranchers and produce from local growers, paired with local wines, beers and spirits, uniting kindred spirits—artisans, food activists, farmers, ranchers, winemakers, brewers, writers, chefs, restaurateurs and dedicated locavores—for an evening of conscious conversation over a sensory sustainable feast.

New this year, the dinner (historically a seated dinner where guests changed seats between courses) will be earlier in the day (3-8pm) and stations only—headed by a single chef and highlighting a single seasonal ingredient, e.g., carrot or rabbit—so that more interaction between guests can occur, the reason the dinner was conceived to begin with….

Berry Good Night stands as a model for other communities to come together and share sustainable practices, explore fair food systems, and support their local growers and guardians of the land.
